Senior Decision Day is Friday, April 30th at 1:40 pm on Hillard Howard Field.  Parents are welcome to attend as long as the weather allows.  In the event of bad weather, the event will be moved into the Alumni Auditorium and filmed by Mountain Top Media.  The community and parents would need to watch it online in this case.  WATCH LIVE for FREE.

PHS senior, Sarah Belcher, has been recognized as one of the country’s most outstanding high school leaders by the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation and has been awarded a $20,000 college scholarship. As a member of the 33rd class of Coca-Cola Scholars, Sarah not only exemplifies superior leadership, service, and academics – Sarah is a change agent, positively affecting others in the community. Sarah is one of 150 selected from 99,403 applicants from across the country to receive this scholarship.

Congratulations to PHS Senior, Jason Lin, for being named a National Merit Semifinalists today.  He is the only senior in Pike County to be named at least a semifinalists.  He now tries to become our 20th National Merit Finalists since 1957.
